Highest point in CT

Today I woke to rain. No photography this morning so I went out to breakfast, groceries and located a Motorhome dealer who could get my A/C shroud by tomorrow so I can be on the road again. The rain stopped about noon so I took a short drive to Burlington CT to photograph the BIG birds... they once again eluded me.  By 2:30 Mike and I visited Meridan CT to visit Castle Craig on a 976 foot cliff laden hill that is the tallest point within 25 miles of the coastline from Maine to Florida. We could see Hartford to the west and Massachusetts to the north. Kieran produced dinner tonight "Penna ala vodka" with chicken. Delicious!! ~Link to Photos~
