Last minutes before leaving... Sept 12, 2014

I've been preparing for this journey for weeks. As the departure date nears I am busy with motorhome tweaks and personal time with loved ones. Monday night I was treated to a wonderful evening with the family at a japanese hibachi restaurant in Waterville. 23 family members attended my farewell dinner and loads of fun, laughter and saki was had by all. Thank you to my fantastic family for that send off memory! Tuesday I installed into the motorhome a new gps unit, sirius xm satellite radio and activated a plan, took a carload of items to my storage unit, groceries, roof rack installed, fixed a small kitchen sink leak, setup new grill and verified that my original coleman stove works well, repaired engine compartment firewall insulation, ordered my last mail drop before leaving and also ordered a new laptop battery online. ( so many little things to think of). Today I visited with Ava and took her to her kindergarten assessment testing then I treated her to a Dunkin morning. After noon I have been completing tasks such as RV roof repair, generator oil and filter change, Furnace cleaning, spare tire check, Engine air filter cleaning, Oiled and operated the leveler jacks, A/C unit air filter cleaned, sorted and combined 6 boxes of storage items into two totes Shipped off an ebay item I sold and spent dinner and some television with mom. ( we needed that).
