Sand never gets hot

Boy did I ever find a beach today!  Sarasota's Fiesta Beach was voted the #1 beach in the USA. I can see why. Clear water and soft cool sandy beach where the sand is so fine it's like powder under your feet. I got a great tip from Deb Hutchinson that I should visit it. I walked up and down the shoreline this afternoon and it sure didn't feel like any October I can ever remember. :) Did lots of other errands and tasks as well but I won't bore you with those details. Just know that each day I set out to accomplish big things in the way of settling into the area. After the drive I returned to the pool for a swim at dusk. Very refreshing.
