Boardwalk built around these rock formations

Made a side trip today into the Shawnee National Forest in Illinois to photograph the Garden of the Gods rock formations. I found them to be unique and unusual.I walked amongst Gods for at least 45 minutes. How many people can say that?  While driving I found so much corn I don't ever want to see another cob!!!  This is a very agricultural area, being flat and cleared land everywhere you look. Big rigs all over the roads in front of me, behind me and coming at me very fast. Most homes are modest and made of brick. Even many small homes have columns in front. Must be a southern thing. They must use this corn for animal feed, corn on the cob, frozen corn, creamed corn, corn syrup, corn meal, cobbed corn, popcorn,  muffins, margarine, tortillas, maize and who knows what else! :)    Took the Honda to the dealership today because it was close and I wanted to be sure all fluids were checked as I have been towing quite a few miles now. A+ checkup!! Still Hot downright warm and beautiful weather. These folks sure are a friendly bunch. ~Link to Photos~
