Now which way really goes south?

Long day of driving today. Left Oklahoma City en route to Fort Worth/Dallas and decided to travel south of the cities to get closer to Houston today. weather was windy but very clear and sunny. Construction held me up north of Fort Worth and then a vehicle breakdown stopped me for another 35 minutes. Yes my vehicle! As I'm traveling the freeway I-35W in Fort Worth a man in his pickup and car trailer in tow hand signals me that something is wrong in the back. I pulled over and so did he. Just a little skeptical I waited for him to come to my window. He explained that My tow car had no right signal or brake lights working. I then went out to check. pulled the bulb. It was ok. He checked the tow cable fixture and it was ok. that meant it was in the car wiring. We troubleshot a little more and found a loose connection in the front cable connector. With my tools and his assistance we managed to fix it and tape it all up again as traffic goes by on I-35W. This little mexican man was very helpful and friendly. I have my lights working and he has his tip. On we went with our separate lives again never to meet again. I so am grateful for the many good people I have encountered along my journey. The freeway looked like a roller coaster today. The landscape is still flat and the cattle are plentiful. Only difference is that the horns have gotten longer down here. On to Houston tomorrow for a visit with Jason. looking forward to it.
